Each year on the last Saturday of Skull Island Rendezvous, there is an all day shooting event.  Each member puts a prize on the blanket.  There are four events for the day.  The Buffalo shoot, the Tree shoot, the Dull Knife shoot, and the Mountain Man Run.  There are prizes made by the previous years winner for each event.  There is also a candle shoot in total darkness that night.  There is an over all winner, based on the highest number of points by any one shooter.  The over all winner gets first pick of the prizes off of the blanket, and so on down the line.

    The folding Rendezvous chair was put up by Medicine Man.  The hawk and fire irons by Badleg.  The small shooting box by Ax.   The hand carved walking stick by Lopping Turtle.  The fire bellows by Rosebud, and the small wire inlayed belt ax by Choctaw.  The small disk you see are the prizes for each event, one for overall winner, and one for the candle shoot.

    The overall winner was Ax.  Second was Lopping Turtle, third Choctaw, fourth Badleg, fifth Rosebud and sixth Medicine Man.  I will have to take up for Medicine Man here.   His rear sight had worked loose on his rifle..... or so he said a few days later...................;)

Rosebud being fith got the hawk and fire irons.               And Medicine Man with the "loose sights" got the bellows.
